Local 825 & Carpenters endorse Steven Fulop for Mayor of Jersey City
Local 825 has joined with the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters (NRCC) to endorse Jersey City Councilman Steven Fulop, who is challenging incumbent Mayor Jerome Healey.
“We believe that Councilman Fulop’s experience, record of independence on key issues and his energy all qualify him to lead Jersey City’s emergence as an economic hub and a premier community to live and work.”
Fulop said, “Both the Carpenters and Operating Engineers know that, as Mayor, I will fight for working families to ensure they have opportunities for employment, quality schools for their children and safe neighborhoods in which to raise their families.”
