Our advertising program promotes the value of our work and our contribution to the communities we call home.

The introductory ad in the series celebrated the completion of the Ocean City, NJ, causeway from Somers Point. The project was completed ahead of schedule, just in time for Memorial Day weekend 2012 to accommodate the annual influx of summer visitors. The ad conveys a higher message that we build bridges and raise families in the communities we serve.
This ad celebrated the beginning of construction of the Spectra Energy pipeline expansion project, which runs through parts of Bayonne, Jersey City and offshore Hoboken. Our members advocated for regulatory approval of the project. We not only believe in its safety, we appreciate the benefit of cleaner air that will result from the use of natural gas, thanks to this pipeline.
Local 825 specializes in highway construction and has played an integral role in the New Jersey Turnpike expansion. The major artery that connects New York with Pennsylvania and Delaware, it widening improves the quality of life of anyone who has ever been stuck in traffic resulting from the merge at Exit 8-A.
Local 825 members are well aware that contractors and business owners rely on the ability to complete quality work on time and on budget. When contractors succeed, we succeed. That's why we're committed to completing projects safely, on time and on budget. Right on target.
Local 825 Operating Engineers believe in conservation and renewal, which is why they work to replace outdated water mains and tunnels that waste millions of gallons of water a year. Our members are included in water infrastructure projects through New Jersey and in New York State, where they are building a $1 billion, 3.5-mile bypass to the Delaware Aqueduct tunnel.
