Who May Apply
Applicant must be a High School Senior, and child of a current or deceased member of a union affiliated with the Mercer County AFL–CIO Labor Council.
When to Apply
Application Deadline: May 9, 2025, 11:59 PM – applications will not be accepted after the deadline!

Application Instructions
The following items must be submitted as one complete package to be considered for a scholarship:
- Official Transcripts, Verification of class rank (if available) and SAT or ACT scores from High School
- Verification of Union membership signed by secretary of the affiliated local (see form).
- 200-500 word essay on the following topic: “What the American Labor Movement Has Meant to My Family”
