The fourth annual Local 825 Poker Run to benefit the scholarship fund just keeps getting bigger every year. This time around, we counted 229 bikes and 340 people (and one golden retreiver) who attended the post ride BBQ at the Jackson Moose Lodge. We carved up a 300-pound pig and had plenty of burgers, hotdogs, beans and salads to feed an army.
Thanks to all who attended, sponsored and/or helped out. Thanks to all the riders, including our brothers from the dock builders, Iron Workers, Local 15 Operating Engineers, retired Local 825 members and Pipe Fitters to name a few. If we’re omitting any groups, we apologize … it was a great day and we thank everyone for making it so much fun.
